In the last year, Bowers has taken one unofficial visit to each of his top 7 except for Washington. He made his way around the southeast in April checking out the three SEC schools. all in a row with Auburn being the last stop.
Why Auburn made the cut
Bowers had this to say about the Tigers when he was offered back in January:
“I’m not familiar with Auburn but I’ve watched them play in the Iron Bowl many times. Seeing them compete at the highest level of college football has always appealed to me. There is definitely interest there with them being in the SEC and being a top 25 team almost every year.”
