Four-star tight end Lafayette Kaiuway, who was recently offered by Auburn, has included the Tigers in his top-11 schools. Kaiuway is a 6-foot-5 215-pound from Arlington, Texas (Sam Houston). He is a hybrid type tight end prospect who duels as a slot receiver.
Auburn joins schools such as Florida State, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, and Miami. Kaiuway also had a heavy dose of in-state schools in the mix such as Texas, Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU, and Houston.

Auburn has had success in Texas lately
The Tigers have pulled a few players in the past few cycles from the talent-rich state of Texas. The most recent was WR signee Jay Fair from Rockwall, Texas. A year ago Auburn was able to land a 4-star signee from Humble, Texas in Landen King. The year prior to that the Tigers landed 4-star Brandon Frazier from McKinney, Texas.

Interestingly, both King and Frazier were Texas tight end prospects. That has surely been a pitch for Auburn in the recruitment of Kaiuway.
The Tigers will be working to get Kaiuway on campus. As of right now he does not have a visit scheduled, but a visit is in the works. Kaiuway will more than likely be hosted by one of Auburn’s Texas transplants.
