Auburn offers Illinois 4-star athlete Jyaire Hill
Auburn on Monday offered Jyaire Hill, who is widely regarded as one of the top athletes in the 2023 class.
Hill, from Kankakee (Ill.), announced the offer on Twitter.
“I am very blessed and grateful to announce that I have received [an] offer from Auburn University,” Hill wrote.
Auburn joins several schools that have offered Hill, including Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State and Illinois.
The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) currently favors Michigan at 96.2%. Hill visited Michigan in January and already has set an official visit to Ann Arbor for June 10-12, according to his On3 recruiting page.

Hill is highly coveted for many reasons. He is a standout on both offense and defense.
As a junior, Hill rushed for 468 yards and eight touchdowns on 49 carries (9.6 avg.). On defense, he had 56 tackles and seven interceptions in 13 games.
Hill, who is listed at 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds, is the No. 318 overall recruit in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally-weighted, industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks the No. 13 athlete in the country and No. 4 recruit in Illinois.
