Auburn Tigers Target Tracker: Nov. 8 edition
Even with Auburn looking for a new football coach, recruiting won’t slow. And the program’s biggest targets yesterday remain its biggest targets today. So until we know who will succeed Bryan Harsin, Auburn Live will keep tabs on essentially the same group of players as before he was fired.
In this space, we’ll continue to highlight performances of offered prospects, flip targets and other recruits of note.
Here are this week’s notable performances …
Tigers Target Tracker …
*2023 Edge Rueben Bain, Miami (Fla.) Central: Entering the playoffs this week, Bain has 19 sacks, 20 tackles for loss and 29.5 other tackles. He visited Auburn on Oct. 1 and will return for this weekend’s game on an unofficial visit. Auburn edge coach Roc Bellantoni and linebackers coach Christian Robinson watched him play in person three weeks ago.
*2023 LB Stanquan Clark, Miami (Fla.) Central (LOUISVILLE COMMIT): At last check, Clark had 56 tackles and seven sacks in eight games played. He plans to officially visit Auburn for the Texas A&M game this weekend.
*2023 WR Lamar Seymore, Miami (Fla.) Central (PITT COMMIT): Entering the playoffs this week, Seymore has 29 receptions for 454 yards and seven touchdowns.

*2023 CB Colton Hood, McDonough (Ga.) Eagles Landing Christian Academy (MICHIGAN STATE COMMIT). In an 56-12 win over Atlanta (Ga.) McNair, Hood had two receptions for 65 yards and two touchdowns — and contributed four tackles and an interception. He even had an 82-yard kickoff return. Hood now has 29 catches for 598 yards and nine touchdowns for the season — to go along with three picks. He officially visited Auburn two weekends ago and plans to return Saturday.
*2023 LB Lewis Carter, Tampa Catholic (OKLAHOMA COMMIT): In a 20-19 win over Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit, Carter rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, had eight tackles and blocked a punt.
*2023 CB Edwin Joseph, Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep: Joseph recorded three catches for 25 yards and two touchdowns in a 45-6 win over Port St. Lucie (Fla.) Treasure Coast. That gives him 29 catches for 491 yards and seven touchdowns on the season — to go along with two interceptions. He’s officially visiting Auburn this weekend.

*2023 TE Jelani Thurman, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes (OHIO STATE COMMIT): Thurman had four catches for 124 yards and two touchdowns in a 56-23 win over Paulding County (Ga.). Thurman now has 29 catches for 491 yards and nine touchdowns on the season. Langston Hughes is 10-0.

*2023, DL Joshua Horton, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes (NORTH CAROLINA COMMIT): Horton recorded eight tackles in a 56-23 win over Paulding County (Ga.). He now has 78 tackles (40 solo), 5 tackles for loss and 3 sacks this season.
*2023, Darron Reed, Columbus (Ga.) Carver (LSU COMMIT): Reed has 30 tackles, 9 tackles for loss and 8 sacks on the season.

*2024 QB Air Noland, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes: Noland was 16-of-26 passing for 410 yards and five touchdowns in a 56-23 win over Paulding County (Ga.). For the season, he is 151-of-215 passing for 2,745 yards, 37 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
*2024 RB J’Marion Burnette, Andalusia (Ala.): Burnette rushed for 159 yards and one touchdown on 30 carries in a 25-10 playoff win over Jackson (Ala.). He has 1,428 rushing yards this season while averaging 8.3 yards a carry.
