It’s always fun to follow the future by keeping tabs on the success of Auburn football commitments in the fall. But this season, we’re also tracking key Tiger targets. Each week, we’ll highlight some performances of offered prospects, flip targets and other recruits of note.

Here are this week’s notable performances …

Tigers Target Tracker …

*2023 Edge Rueben Bain, Miami (Fla.) Central: Central beat Miami (Fla.) Columbus 42-35. Bain recorded four sacks. That gives him 17 sacks on the season. He visited Auburn on Oct. 1. Auburn edge coach Roc Bellantoni and linebackers coach Christian Robinson watched him play in person on Friday night.

*2023 LB Stanquan Clark, Miami (Fla.) Central (LOUISVILLE COMMIT): Central beat Miami (Fla.) Columbus 42-35. Clark forced two fumbles in the game. He plans to officially visit Auburn for the Texas A&M game.

*2023 CB Colton Hood, McDonough (Ga.) Eagles Landing Christian Academy (MICHIGAN STATE COMMIT). In a 49-20 loss to Callaway (Ga.), Hood recorded six tackles on defense. On offense, he had four catches for 52 yards, eight carries for 42 yards and 104 yards passing with one touchdown. He will officially visit Auburn this coming weekend.

*2023 LB Lewis Carter, Tampa Catholic (OKLAHOMA COMMIT): In a 70-35 win over Tampa (Fla.) Robinson, Carter rushed for 212 yards and five touchdowns and had seven tackles with an interception.

*2023 CB Edwin Joseph, Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep: Joseph recorded two catches for 55 yards and a touchdown in a 63-0 win over Hollywood (Fla.) Avant Garde Academy. That gives him 25 catches for 454 yards and five touchdowns on the season — to go along with two interceptions.

*2023 TE Jelani Thurman, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes (OHIO STATE COMMIT): In a 41-0 win over Newnan (Ga.), Thurman had seven receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns with Auburn coach Bryan Harsin watching in person. Thurman has 23 receptions for 323 yards and seven touchdowns on the season. Langston Hughes is 8-0.

*2023, DL Joshua Horton, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes (NORTH CAROLINA COMMIT): In a 41-0 win over Newnam (Ga.), Horton recorded eight total tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss. Horton has 62 tackles (33 solo), 5 tackles for loss and 3 sacks this season.

*2024 QB Air Noland, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes: In a 41-0 win over Newnam (Ga.), Noland was 23 of 28 for 276 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. For the season, he is 119-of-166 passing for 2,048 yards, 28 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.

*2024 RB J’Marion Burnette, Andalusia (Ala.): In a 45-23 loss to Montgomery Catholic (Ala.) Booker T. Washington, Burnette rushed for 248 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries. That gives him 1,269 rushing yards this season while averaging about 9 yards a carry.
