Auburn visit 'top-notch' for top QB target Brock Glenn, decision coming soon
Auburn’s top QB prospect, Brock Glenn, was on campus for the weekend. He, once again, felt at home.
“It went literally perfect. I enjoyed all three days. Great family feel. Auburn is Auburn. It’s always going to have that good feel.”
Glenn spent time with multiple coaches. He got the royal treatment from the staff.
“Getting around the coaches, getting to know them. I really learned everything about them. Really, we learned everything about them.”
Auburn in on Glenn before others
Auburn taking notice and recruiting Glenn before he showed out at the Elite 11 camp meant a lot to him.
“It just shows that they don’t care about the rankings, they don’t care about the stars, they don’t care about your name. They care about who you are as a person, who you are as a player. They don’t care whoever else has offered, if you’re a five star or a two star, they don’t care. If they see it in you, they’re going to offer you and believe in you.”
Others have joined the picture, but Auburn is one of a few schools that recognized his talent beforehand.
“That’s what I appreciate about them. They believed in me before a lot of the attention came to me.”
The theme of the weekend was scheme
The weekend was devoted to getting to see campus and learn about the staff, but much time was spent talking ball as well.
“I was with Coach Kiesau a lot. Coach Mike Hartline, they were great. They love football, they LOVE football. It’s crazy. The studying they do about it, it’s insane.”
Hartline is a big part of his recruitment as well.
“Coach Hartline, he watches like 500 NFL clips a week. They’re trying to implement some NFL stuff because they’re a pro-tempo offense. They take stuff from top NFL programs.”

As a QB with NFL aspirations, the scheme talk was everything for Glenn.
“I love it. The ultimate goal is the NFL. The information I took in this weekend was insane. We actually watched film for about two hours, talked about the offense. Everything from pass pro, concepts, hot routes, kill plays, drops, fundamentals, Coach Kiesau’s philosophy, Coach Harsin’s philosophy, cadence, everything.”
Glenn got all the information he was looking for.
“I loved it. It was everything I was looking for. Coming from a pro style system helps your stock a lot.”
A final decision coming before Elite 11 Finals
Glenn doesn’t plan to wait much longer to make a final decision. He will take a few more visits and then make it official.
“I have a couple more visits coming up. I’ll go to Florida State next weekend, maybe Virginia, and then decide right after that. I want to get this thing done before the Elite 11. So, probably that weekend before or the week before. I want to go into that not worrying about anything else.”
Glenn is ready to be involved in the recruiting process for his school.
“I want to start recruiting. I really want to get involved and get some top guys in this class to come with me. Really, just enjoy my senior season, get this out of the way and know where I’m going. I want to decide before July.”
There is a list of schools he is focused on before making the decision.
“Right now it’s TCU, Auburn, Florida State, Virginia, Mississippi State. I’ll be taking an unofficial to Florida June 13.”
Auburn is firmly in the mix with a decision coming soon.
“They’re up there. Really its coming down to TCU, Auburn, and these last couple of visits.”
Glenn and his family will finish out the visits and then come together for a decision.
“This visit was amazing. It was top-notch. TCU was great, too. It gave me something to weigh with the pros and cons. After all my visits we will re-cap as a family and make a decision.”
