Auburn's Colby Wooden, Derick Hall announce plans to enter NFL Draft
AUBURN — To nobody’s surprise, arguably Auburn’s two best football players announced their intentions to enter the NFL Draft, as Colby Wooden and Derick Hall released social media videos on Tuesday.

“It’s been an amazing ride, a wonderful journey, and I want to say thank you to everyone who has been with me the last few years,” Wooden said. “With that being said, I’d like to declare for the 2023 NFL Draft.”

Wooden will finish his Auburn career with 153 tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss and 14 sacks.
Wooden is projected a 3rd-4th-round pick in next year’s draft.
“Wow. I don’t know where to start,” Hall said. “Auburn family, I just want to say thank you. It’s been nothing short of amazing. My time is up and it’s a lot to process. This time here has been great. If I had to pick Auburn all over again, I’d do it 1,000 times over. If you love Auburn, it’ll love you back. I know I’ll be able to come home. With all that being said, I’d like to enter my name into the 2023 NFL Draft.”
Hall finishes his Auburn career with 146 tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss and 19.5 sacks.
Hall is projected a 2nd-round pick in next year’s draft.
Departures of Wooden, Hall leave Auburn defensive line thin entering 2023
