Auburn's Connor Lew tracking towards being 'one of the best centers in the country'

AUBURN -- There might not be a player on Auburn's football team with a higher ceiling or greater professional potential than Connor Lew. Lew, a true freshman in 2023, was garnering attention almost immediately upon his arrival on campus. He was quickly positioned as Avery Jones' backup, and when Jones was injured in week 8 of last season, Lew took over and performed incredibly well. He started the final six games, earning SEC Freshman of the Week after his first start and earning All-Freshman Team for the SEC by season's end.
