Basketball report card: Auburn falters on both ends of the floor, loses at Appalachian State

In the first true road test of the season, Auburn basketball struggled on both ends of the floor, trailed for over 26 minutes and ultimately fell to Appalachian State in the end. Final: Tigers 64, Mountaineers 69. The fans inside the Holmes Center rushed the court following Appalachian State's first home win over a power conference in 40 years. Auburn entered the game as a Top-20 team according to KenPom and T-Rank, with Appalachian State hovering around the No. 100-mark. On the road, it's a Quad-II loss that won't dramatically hurt the Tigers' NCAA Tournament resume, but it will hurt some, and it was certainly a missed opportunity for a decent road non-conference win.
