He started a trend for players from his school choosing Auburn.
Quoteworthy: “I feel more and more comfortable at Auburn. And they make it easy. It feels like home. It feels like family. Everybody knows everybody. I know everybody from my official visit, from the equipment people to the offensive staff to the defensive staff to the special teams staff. I know everybody and everybody knows me. They are all invested in me and me in them.”
Film Breakdown
***Film breakdown written by Auburn Live Analyst Cole Pinkston..
— Woodby has a slight build at 5-foot-10 185 pounds. He is more about his speed than his size. Woodby has elite speed and accelaration.
— Woodby’s best highlight are as a receiver/ball carrier. He is fast enough to break angles of defenders but also shows some surprising prowess with the ball in his hands.
— As a cover guy, Woodby has excellent change of direction. He can stop and break on the ball as a cover corner out in space.
— With his speed, and being on the smaller side, Woodby is meant to play in space. He should fit as the field corner in Auburn’s defense.

— Woodby is more than likely not as versatile as a defensive back because his coverage skills look to be excellent for playing man coverage at corner.
— Woodby’s football IQ shows up when in coverage. He never seems to be fooled by various routes and stays tight in coverage. Part of it is his feet and athleticism, the other part is knowing what’s coming at him.
— Watching Woodby on offense proves that he knows what to do with the ball in his hands. He has a highl level of football instincts and has the fearlessness to carry the ball, but also come up and tackle as a smaller player.
— Woodby is going to be able to contribute at some point in his Auburn career. Finding a pure coverage player is not all that common. It’s one of the harder things to do in football, period. Woodby will probably stay in a coverage role early on as he works up the depth chart.
