BREAKING: Alabama transfer CB Antonio Kite commits to Auburn
Alabama transfer cornerback Antonio Kite has committed to Auburn football.
Kite, who has three years of eligibility, announced his decision Wednesday on social media. He will begin classes at Auburn immediately.
Kite signed with Alabama in the 2022 class out of Anniston (Ala.) High School. He was a top-200 overall recruit (161) and the No. 13 safety in the country.
At Alabama, Kite redshirted in 2022 and played mainly on special teams as a freshman in 2023.
Kite is the ninth transfer addition for Auburn this cycle and second defensive back. Texas transfer Jerrin Thompson committed to the Tigers on Monday. Auburn currently has the No. 32-ranked transfer class, according to On3’s Transfer Portal Team Rankings. The Tigers’ high school/junior college class is ranked No. 8 in the country.
