BREAKING: Auburn lands JUCO DL Quientrail Travis
Three-star defensive lineman Quientrail Travis, the No. 17 overall Junior college prospect in the country according to the On3 consensus, has committed to Auburn.
Travis, a native of Minneapolis, Minn. announced his commitment to the Tigers on Tuesday, choosing Auburn over Penn State.
“All I’ve got to say is, war eagle” Travis told Auburn Live.
Travis broke the news via his Twitter account:
I want to thank all the coaches who took time out of their day to recruit me and showed me a lot of love through this process. With that being said, I’m taking my talents and education to the University of Auburn.
According to Travis, he will have three years to play two seasons. He is listed at 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds and played at Iowa Western Community College.
He hopes to arrive at Auburn in January and enroll for the spring semester.
“Hopefully — I’ve still got to finish a couple classes at Iowa Western,” he said. “From there, I’m going to Auburn.”
