Once again, Auburn made beating a really good basketball team look easy. In an 87-69 win over Purdue that wasn't really that close, the Tigers won the TO battle, points in the paint, second-chance points, points off TOs, rebounds, fast break points, blocks, assists, made more threes, and led for over 38 minutes. The win marked Bruce Pearl's 211th win in his 11 seasons at Auburn, putting him two wins behind Joel Eaves, who won 213 games in 14 seasons as the Tigers’ head coach, for the most career coaching wins in program history.
