Brief thoughts and grades: No. 2 Auburn over Ohio State

AUBURN -- Auburn may want to make sure they are part of the Holiday Hoopsgiving every single season, and make sure it's against a Big Ten opponent while they're at it. Auburn has beaten Nebraska, Indiana and Ohio State by a combined 97 points in three of the last four seasons. The win on Saturday over KenPom No. 36 Ohio State was never a contest. Auburn led 25-8 and it wasn't remotely close after about five or so minutes into the game. Auburn is now six games through their seven big non-conference games with a 5-1 record. All that's left is KenPom No. 21 Purdue in Birmingham this coming Saturday. If the Tigers get through Houston in Houston, the Maui Invitational, at Duke, Ohio State and Purdue with a 6-1 record, everyone inside the Auburn basketball building will be thrilled.
