Five games up, five wins. Two Top-5 wins. Two ranked non-conference regular season wins for the first time in the history of the program. And two Top-5 wins in the first five games makes the Tigers the first team to do that since Kansas in 1990. That's it. That's all Auburn has accomplished in their first month of the season. No big deal. After beating Houston and Iowa State, maybe the Tigers may claim a Big 12 title while they're at it. Auburn's 18-point comeback was the largest under Bruce Pearl since coming back from 19 down at Ole Miss in 2020. The 18-point comeback is also the largest comeback in a Top-5 matchup since No. 2 Kansas came back from 19 down to beat No. 5 Missouri in 2012.
