Bruce Pearl, No. 2 Auburn 'continuing the grind': 'We're playing good basketball on both ends...'
AUBURN -- Bruce Pearl and his incredibly impressive basketball team better soak in the holiday break. After playing seven Quad I games in the first 12 contests of the season and possessing a Top 10 strength of schedule, the gap between playing Purdue last Saturday and Monmouth on Monday night will be the most significant gap between games until March. “From a reflections standpoint, we're playing good basketball on both ends of the floor,” Pearl said on Friday. “We're sharing it. We're shooting it. I think we're defending well. We're rebounding the ball a little bit better. Areas we can continue to improve on are transition offense and defense.” More inside.
