Bryan Harsin, other Auburn coaches on the road this week
Welcome to War Room Plus — a new Auburn Live feature that focuses on Tigers recruiting. Today, we look at where some Auburn coaches will be this week with the Tigers having a bye.
Let’s get the juice flowing …

Tigers coach Bryan Harsin on Monday will be on an in-state road trip for public relations and recruiting purposes. Harsin will be part of a group from Auburn that will travel to Birmingham and down to Mobile doing media sessions and stopping at high schools to recruit.
He will be joined on the trip by chief of staff Brad Larrondo, director of high school relations Brendt Bedsole, director of broadcast operations Brad Law, director of strategic communications Jeff Shearer and director of photography Todd Van Emst, among others.
The group first will fly to Birmingham on Monday morning and go to the offices of Raymond Harbert and Charlie Miller for a luncheon at the Harbert Center Venue. Harsin then will have a media session with the Birmingham media before attending the Monday Morning Quarterback Club of Birmingham luncheon. Harsin and Law will have a Q&A session at the luncheon.
Following the session with Law, Harsin will fly to Mobile where he will make stops at Saraland, Vigor and Mobile Christian high schools, home to several top recruits. He then will attend the Mike Gottfried 1st and 10 Club event in Mobile.
Harsin will have another Q&A chat with Law before returning to Auburn.

Key stops will be made by the staff in Florida
With Auburn off this coming weekend, the staff will be on the road recruiting a lot. For linebackers coach Christian Robinson, we know of two big stops.
One will be to see 4-star Memphis linebacker commit Arion Carter of Smyrna (Tn.). While that recruitment seems to be fairly open, Auburn is working to try to get Carter in for a visit.
Another key visit for Robinson takes place Friday in Florida when he’ll see 4-star Louisville commit Stanquan Clark of Miami Central. Clark attended the Auburn-LSU game (he loved it) and per our sources will return for an official visit the weekend of the Texas A&M game in November.

Auburn edge coach Roc Bellantoni will visit 4-star edge commit Wilky Denaud of Fort Pierce (Fla.) John Carroll on Thursday. The timing couldn’t be better.

Denaud continues to flirt a little with Florida State and visited the ‘Noles this past weekend. According to someone with knowledge of this recruitment, FSU hasn’t pushed but if it does things perhaps could get interesting. Getting to see Denaud in person again will be big for the Tigers.
We’ve also learned that Bellantoni, Auburn’s area recruiter for the ultra-important south Florida region, will hit four other key schools Thursday. They are: Fort Lauderdale Dillard, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas, Plantation American Heritage and Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna.
There are some good defensive backs in that region, including recently offered 4-star corner Edwin Joseph of Chaminade-Madonna. With that in mind, Auburn secondary coach Zac Etheridge will visit some of those schools with Bellantoni
Friday, we expect Bellantoni to see several prospects in Miami-Dade County, including those at Miami Central, where 4-star edge Rueben Bain plays, and Hialeah Gardens Mater Academy Charter, home to 4-star 2024 Auburn quarterback commit Adrian Posse.
These visits aren’t just about the 2023 class. Look for Auburn to also swing by Miami Norland, home to 2024 linebacker target Jeremiah Marcelin.
We believe Bellantoni and Robinson will watch the Miami Central-Miami Columbus game Friday night.

FSU hosted 4-star ‘Noles edge/defensive end commit Keldric Faulk over the weekend and while Auburn has pushed and gotten Faulk on campus for two home games this season the confidence seems to be fairly high in Tallahassee that FSU can hang on. Faulk was expected to attend the Alabama-Tennessee game in Knoxville, Tn., and that was some cause for concern to the ‘Noles, but he cancelled those plans and went to the FSU-Clemson game instead. There are some at FSU who have viewed the Vols as the biggest threat. Meanwhile, Auburn will continue to pursue Faulk and another visit to Jordan-Hare Stadium this season wouldn’t be a surprise.
