BREAKING: Class of 2025 4-star DL Jourdin Crawford commits to Auburn
Auburn football has picked up a huge commitment from Jourdin Crawford, one of the top overall recruits in the 2025 class.
Crawford, who is from Parker High School in Birmingham, Ala., announced his commitment Monday on social media.
“No place like home,” Crawford wrote. “(Jeremy Garrett) & (Hugh Freeze) let’s go!”
Crawford last visited Auburn for the Georgia game. He said that then there are plenty of reasons for his high interest in the Tigers.
“Everything (about them), just everything,” he said. “The way they treat me. I also like the way they play. Maybe the coaches (are the main reason), but I would just say everything all over.”
The On3 Industry Ranking ranks Crawford the No. 203 overall recruit in the class and No. 22 defensive lineman. He also ranks the No. 13 overall recruit in Alabama.

Crawford is the Tigers’ fourth commitment in the ’25 class, joining defensive lineman Malik Autry, offensive lineman Spencer Dowland and outside linebacker Jakaleb Faulk.
From Auburn Live’s Cole Pinkston…
Two strengths
— Crawford is an interior defensive lineman all the way. In fact, he is not a versatile guy and that may have hurt his stock with Auburn at first. Things have changed as he has proven to be a problem in the middle of the defense for Parker.
— Crawford has shown some surprising athleticism for an interior defensive lineman. He lines up at wildcat quarterback and has scored in a big game this season. He also has a scoop and score touchdown in which he showed some good speed running with the ball. Crawford is a strong nose/3-technique prospect. One of the best in the 2025 class in my opinion.
One area for improvement
— Crawford, as a nose guard, is about as solid as you can ask at this level. If he wants to improve his stock as a recruit, he needs to prove he can pass rush from different spots. He is not an elite pass rusher, but he is a run stuffer. Auburn needs versatility, but it also needs the run stuffer, just in a smaller amount. Crawford is somewhat typecast in that spot, but he is extremely valuable.
