Class of 2025 sharpshooter Ty Price visits Auburn, will return soon
Ty Price, projected to be one of the top point guards and shooters in the 2025 class, took an unofficial visit to Auburn over the weekend.
Price, from Butler County, Ky, arrived on Friday and stayed until Saturday. It was his first visit to Auburn.
“It was great,” Price said. “I got to see the campus, talk to all of the coaches and Coach (Bruce) Pearl. I went to the football game. It was a great first visit.”
Price already had high interest in Auburn before the visit. He certainly does now that he’s seen it for himself. He plans to return soon.

“I’ll definitely come back,” he said. “I’ll be back soon for a basketball game.”
Price is receiving interest from several schools, including Auburn, Mississippi State, Western Kentucky, Liberty, St. Louis, Drake and Rhodel Island. Offers are soon to come.
Price said Auburn is a school he’ll be keeping a close eye on.
“I love it,” he said. “It’s been a great opportunity to come down here and visit and I’ll be happy to come back. I like their style of play, how Coach (Bruce) Pearl has had smaller guards and how he’s had a lot of success with them.”
