Quoteworthy: “I know Auburn is where I want to be no matter what happens with this program. At the end of the day I want to be an Auburn man. I’m committed to the school, not a coach or because they have a new facility, even though it’s amazing.”
The Wedin File
Wedin is a big-bodied offensive line prospect with excellent length. He has the ideal frame for a versatile college offensive lineman. He could fit at the guard or even tackle position with his frame.
Wedin is able to push defenders around due to good raw strength, physicality, and arm length. The size and length are good enough to win his one-on-one matchups with ease at his current high school level.

Wedin is not overly flexible, meaning he doesn’t bend well at the hips for now. Most of his power comes from his upper body and leg drive without winning with leverage. Interestingly, Wedin moves well in the open field and has the ability to run without being clumsy with his feet. This shows some raw athleticism for a player of his size.
He’s raw, but the body/frame and work ethic are they.
SEC readiness
Breakdown from Auburn Live’s Cole Pinkston:
Wedin probably is not yet ready to play SEC football in year one. There is some development ahead for him first.
For Wedin to be able to play in the SEC, he will have to improve his bendability and pick up his feet more quickly. That can come with time in the program, as well as in the strength program. His frame is ideal to play guard at Auburn.
Wedin is a 2-3 year developmental prospect on the offensive line for now, but his physicality and work ethic could surely shorten that.
