No. 13 Auburn won their 10th straight game, defeating Vanderbilt 80-65 on Wednesday night. Winning in the SEC is always great, especially on the road. It's not easy, but Bruce Pearl wants more. Auburn outscored Vanderbilt by 17 in the first half, but were outscored by two in the second. The Tigers led by 22 points with over seven minutes remaining, but then a barrage of free throws brought Vanderbilt back. From 7:39 to 4:11 in the second half, the Commodores scored nine of 11 points from the line and shrunk the Auburn lead to 13. The Tigers won by 15, but the way the game finished down the stretch didn't leave a good taste in Pearl's mouth. "I'm not happy with how we played in the second half. I'm not sure, Vanderbilt was 2-5 from the foul line in the first half, in the second half they shoot 25 free throws. I just, you know? It's hard to get in any kind of flow," Pearl said postgame.
