Florida edge Jack Pyburn down to 2, sets decision date
Jack Pyburn has two finalists and will choose one of them soon.
Pyburn, an edge from The Bolles School (Fla.), on Wednesday named Auburn and Miami his final two and will announce his commitment on Thursday, Jan. 27.
Pyburn took an official visit to Auburn last weekend. He then flew to Miami for an official visit.
“Everything about it was amazing,” Pyburn said of his Auburn visit. “Obviously, the new facilities being built are amazing. The stadium is amazing. The dorms, coaching staff … I was very impressed.”
Pyburn impressed with Auburn coaches during visit
Pyburn spent time with edge coach Bert Watts and talked in-depth with coach Bryan Harsin. He liked what he heard from both.

“The vision that Coach Harsin has for the program is really special and I really like the way he’s moving the program and the things he believes in and embodies,” Pyburn said. “It’s similar things to what I believe in.
“Also. Coach Watts, the way he coaches, the way he goes about things is really, really impressive to me. Also, just the culture and the creed of Auburn is unlike anything else.”
