Football Performance Center construction progressing well
Auburn has teased fans lately with photos and video of the program’s new Football Performance Center. Players and recruits alike have raved about the potential of the newest development. The Auburn football twitter pages released some player reactions last week. More details about the facility will come soon as construction continues.
What we know so far about the football center
If you’re in the Auburn area, you can’t miss the massive building project. It is certainly an eye-catcher. Part of the official visits that recruits take at Auburn is spent touring the construction site to see the progress that has been made. A 4-star LB priority recruit, Jaiden Ausberry, was impressed with the Football Performance Center after seeing it on his official. “The new facility is probably going to be one of the best in the nation.”

The facility will be a massive 233,400 sq. ft. Altogether it will cover 12 acres of ground including the practice facilities and fields that will be both indoor and outdoor.
There are plenty of details that have been released about the new facility. It will include:

- Sports Medicine and training rooms
- State-of-the-art locker room and player’s lounge
- Indoor and outdoor practice fields and facilities
- Nutrition and dining areas
- Team meeting rooms
- Coach and staff offices
- Spaces and rooms for large events
- Glass atrium to highlight the rich history and tradition of Auburn football
“It truly is the gold standard”, according to Auburn Athletic Director Allen Greene. Players are itching to enjoy the luxury of spending their down time there. It seems they will never run out of entertainment either. Recruits have begun to take notice as well. This facility is a major step in the right direction to solidify Auburn as one of the elite football programs in the country.
