Inside the 20: On today’s episode of Inside the 20 with Jeffrey Lee and Keith Niebuhr — an Auburn Live podcast — we focus on the Tigers’ efforts on the trail.
Monday, we discuss the following …
[ The Auburn Football Coaching Hot Board]
*The big flippers. On today’s show we go in-depth on a number of potential flip candidates for the Tigers. Who do we think Auburn has the best chance of flipping? Who will be a tough pull? All told, we discus around a dozen prospects, from 4-star offensive linemen D.J. Chester (LSU commit) to 4-star defensive back Tony Mitchell (Alabama commit).
*It may surprise some to learn the Tigers are legitimately a factor with many high-level and highly ranked prospects despite the fact we still don’t know who the head coach will be. A top-15 class actually is possible. No lie.

[ The Auburn Football Coaching Hot Board]
The new Auburn Live Coaching Hot Board continues its evolution as information rolls on, and Auburn’s search for a football coach moves forward.
Auburn football shifted gears in a big way on Monday, as university president Chris Roberts fired Bryan Harsin.
Shortly after that, Auburn announced officially the hiring of John Cohen as Athletics Director.
Hours later, Auburn Live broke the news that running backs coach Carnell Williams would be the interim head coach for the remaining four games.
Now, it’s all about the football coaching search. We will continue to put out the Coaching Hot Board as new information warrants it.
*The goal here is to provide names with legitimate smoke (good intel that leads us to believe they are candidates) around them, according to Auburn Live. We aren’t going to give percentages, because that’s nearly impossible to know. We’re trying to provide names, context, and things to think about. If we feel there’s a leader or a pecking order, we will mention that.
