Winning on the road isn't easy in SEC play. Bruce Pearl knows that. No. 23 Georgia entered Saturday with a perfect 11-0 home record, with ranked wins over Kentucky and Oklahoma in the process. But without Johni Broome, with some poor shooting efforts on offense, No. 1 Auburn still escaped with a 70-68 win over the Bulldogs. "You know, it's tough to win on the road. Georgia has gotten so much better -- a great environment in here. Tonight, of course we had some Auburn witnesses in here again, which makes, I just think it makes such a great atmosphere for actually for both teams because when they got on their run, their fans are going nuts. And when we went on our run, we could hear our witnesses. It was a great win. It's great to get out of here," Pearl said. "It was great atmosphere. We did a pretty good job of making our three point shots (10) but, we did not do a very good job making it two point shots and scoring through contact. That's something that we're gonna have to work on this week. Again...(Georgia) is going to beat almost everybody that comes in here. They are. They might beat everybody that comes in here. You know, they're really good team, have a really good roster. They're really deep. This is one we are definitely glad head back on that bus and glad to head back to Auburn." More from Pearl inside.
