Quoteworthy: “It’s a special day for me. Auburn has always been special to me. It has a family feel. It’s the hometown team and I have the opportunity to play for it in front of my family and friends. I don’t have to drive hours away to go to a school that can get me to the NFL.”
The Hart File
Hart grew up in the shadows or Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium dreaming of playing inside and in front of the 87,000-plus fans. Hart soon will be living out his dreams.
The three-star cornerback from Loachapoka, Ala., a town less than 10 miles from Auburn, committed to the Tigers over UCF, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and West Virginia, among others.

SEC readiness
Breakdown from Auburn Live’s Cole Pinkston:
Hart is more of developmental prospect at this time. He may not be ready to play early at Auburn as he will need more weight added to his taller frame, which he has gotten a jump-start on.
His speed is SEC level, without question. From a physicality standpoint, he will need some time to work into the strength program.
Auburn also has plenty of young, talented defensive backs. Working in Hart’s favor is his position versatility, which is something that the Tigers’ two defensive back coaches Zac Etheridge and Wesley McGriff are looking for.
