Jalen McLeod makes return official, aiming to be All-SEC in 2024
AUBURN -- The popular thought was that edge Jalen McLeod would return for the 2024 season and he made it official on Tuesday. After arriving from Appalachian State, McLeod was hindered the first half of this season with an ankle injury. As he got healthy, his production increased. He finished with 44 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks in his first fall in the SEC. McLeod gives himself a "C+" for the season, knowing there's plenty of work to be done. "I started off shaky, missed some plays in the beginning of the season. I turned it up on the backend, but it still wasn't what it should be," McLeod said. "For next year, the goal is being first or second team All-SEC. That's what I see myself as doing." More from McLeod inside...
