Jeremy Garrett talks rebuilding the Auburn DL, potential impact of Justin Rogers and more
New Auburn defensive line coach Jeremy Garrett calls the addition of the Tigers' three transfer portal additions "huge" as Garrett works to develop a unit capable of stopping the run and holding in check the elite offenses of the SEC next fall. Auburn added former five-star prospect Justin Rogers from Kentucky, along with Mosiah Nasili-Kite from Maryland, Elijah McAlister from Vanderbilt and Lawrence Johnson from Purdue. Rogers has two years of eligibility remaining, while Nasili-Kite, McAlister and Johnson all arrive at Auburn with one year of eligibility remaining. The downside of three transfer seniors is immediate roster turnover next winter. The upside is legitimate Power-Five conference experience, and for Garrett, hopefully that equates to an immediate successful rebuild. Garrett talks about his transfers, Justin Rogers specifically and more inside.
