Keldric Faulk, Auburn defense searching for 'energy' after lackluster performance at LSU
AUBURN -- Freshman Keldric Faulk was thrust into the limelight against LSU, starting his first collegiate game after teammate Mosiah Nasili-Kite suffered a season-ending injury against Georgia. Faulk recorded three tackles, but was part of an Auburn defense that lacked "juice" and energy at times according to head coach Hugh Freeze. "Against Georgia, we were flying around. Last weekend, it kind of went flat. We're trying to get that energy back, get everybody on the same page and get rolling," Faulk said. "When you're a defensive player, you thrive off of juice and energy off everybody else. When (Freeze) said that, you could think he was wrong, but he was right. We didn't have any juice on that side. That's why I said I think we came out flat. We just have to get that energy back. That same energy coming out against Georgia and that same energy we had at the beginning of the season. We have to get that back and keep it rolling." More from Faulk inside.
