Live Updates: Adam Hopkins Commitment Ceremony
Four-star receiver Adam Hopkins of Thomasville (Ga.) Thomas County Central, one of the top remaining uncommitted 2023 offensive targets on the Auburn recruiting board, is ready to make his college commitment.
Auburn, Arkansas, Kansas State and Florida State are among his top schools.
Hopkins will announce his college choice around 8 a.m. CT Thursday in a ceremony at his school. Auburn Live’s Cole Pinkston is live on the scene in Thomasville, Ga.
Hopkins, who is 5-foot-11, 174 pounds, is the No. 29 receiver recruit in the country for the On3 Consensus. He checks in as the No. 16 prospect in the state of Georgia and is No. 196 nationally. Hopkins holds a 91.66 On3 Consensus rating.
At 7 a.m. CT, Auburn is the heavy favorite to land Hopkins, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). The Tigers sit at 98% on the RPM, while Texas A&M is second at 1.1%.

7:11 a.m. — Cole just arrived at the school.
7:22 a.m. — Don’t know yet if there is or will be a live stream. Cole will try his best to provide one, but Wi-Fi/reception inside high schools can often make that a challenge.
7:26 a.m. — People in the front office asked Cole if Hopkins was picking Auburn and Cole said he thought so. They cheered. “Apparently some Auburn fans are here.”
7:36 a.m. — This announcement will take place in the cafeteria at the school. No guests have arrived yet.

7:40 a.m. — Some family have started to arrive.
7:41 a.m. — Mom, aunt and brother have arrived. Seemed excited to have reporters here. They have hats in a bag — about to put them out.

7:52 a.m. — School administrators coming in. Still no Adam yet.
7:57 a.m. — They’re getting a camera set up for a live thing. May take a little longer to get going. Still have not seen Adam.
