AUBURN — All that’s left is to wait and see where No. 3 Auburn lands in the 2025 NCAA Tournament after a historic regular season that saw the Tigers win a Maui Invitational championship, a SEC regular season championship, rack up 16 Quad 1 wins, and win 10 ranked vs. ranked matchups this season.

Auburn is currently No. 3 in the AP and Coaches polls, No. 2 in the NET, No. 3 in ESPN’s BPI and No. 4 in KenPom. The Tigers finished the season with the No. 2 SOS, per KenPom. Among the other four most likely or possible No. 1 seeds — Duke, Houston, Florida and Tennessee — Auburn’s out-of-conference SOS ranked No. 8, the highest among the group. For reference, Florida’s OOC SOS was No. 262 and Tennessee’s was No. 129.

The selections for the tournament will be unveiled at 5 pm CT on Sunday. Here are five popular bracket projections that involve the Tigers. In all five, and about every other bracket projection out there it seems, Auburn is the No. 1 overall seed and atop the South Region. That means First and Second round games in Lexington, Kentucky, and Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games in Atlanta, Georgia.
