LSU transfer wide receiver Koy Moore commits to Auburn
Former LSU wide receiver Koy Moore has committed to Auburn.
Moore, a former four-star recruit and No. 3 wide receiver in Louisiana, announced his decision Saturday night on Twitter. His decision comes in the middle of an official visit to Auburn.
Moore chose Auburn over interest from several schools, including Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
Wide receivers coach Ike Hilliard and director of football and player relations Trovon Reed, both Louisiana natives, along with coach Bryan Harsin, all helped Auburn land Moore.
Moore, who is listed at six-feet tall and 190 pounds on LSU’s official website, entered the transfer portal in October after a freshman season in which he had 22 receptions for 177 yards. His best game at LSU was his last, which was against Ole Miss. Moore had six catches for 63 yards, both career-highs.
Moore was an On3 Consensus four-star recruit in the 2020 class out of Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie, La. He was ranked the No. 337 overall recruit in the country, No. 64 wide receiver and No. 14 recruit in Louisiana. He signed with LSU over offers from Georgia, Florida, Oregon and Tennessee, among many others.

Moore, who has three years of eligibility, is the second wide receiver this offseason to transfer to Auburn. Former Miami wideout and four-star recruit Dazalin Worsham committed to Auburn in May.
Moore and Worsham, who are both immediately eligible, are expected to give the Tigers a boost at the position in 2022.
