Quoteworthy: “It was really fun watching the game with those guys. We all understand the magnitude of the game and the tradition behind the game. Just kids right now, but next year that’s not going to matter. We all have to come in here and play, we are all going to have to be a factor in that game next year.”
Breakdown/In-person evaluation
**In-person eval and breakdown written by Auburn Live Recruiting Analyst Cole Pinkston
— We have seen Blocton already this season, and he played out of his mind. On Friday, his effort matched what we saw before. His motor continues to get better in my opinion. That was one area I thought he could improve on a year ago.
— Blocton flashed several different moves, including a really nice swim move that looked a lot like what Marcus Harris has been doing for Auburn. This swim move is advanced. He swims, but usually to split a double and hold his gap. It is very good.

— Blocton really came alive in the second half. He had several tackles for loss and a sack on Phillips that was a loss of 10 yards.
— Blocton had a competitive edge that I have not seen from him as much. He only seemed to get better as the game went on. He was a major reason that his team came away with the win.
