Projection, keys to victory and game notes: No. 1 Auburn vs. No. 6 Tennessee
AUBURN -- Here we go. The biggest home game of the season to date takes place on Saturday night inside Neville Arena, as the only two teams to hold the No. 1 ranking over the last nearly two months collide in a SEC showdown. Auburn is looking to remain unbeaten in league play and add yet another Quad I win to its season total. Tennessee is looking to keep from falling three games back of the Tigers and vaulting themselves back into the discussion as the nation's best team after a road loss at Vanderbilt last weekend. ESPN's College Gameday is in town. Practices throughout the week were filled with just a few more casual fans and observers than usual. It's a big game, no question about it. Auburn's run of 13 straight SEC games starts now, with two games per week until the regular season is finished. The game features the two winningest programs in the SEC over the last eight seasons as Auburn leads with a .739 winning percentage and Tennessee second (73.4%). More on the matchup inside, including analytics' projection, keys to the game, tidbits on both teams and more.
