After Auburn visit, QB Brock Glenn has timeframe in mind for announcing college choice
Quarterback Brock Glenn doesn’t intend to wait much longer to announce his college choice.
Glenn, from Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tenn., will take one more visit and compete in the Elite 11 before turning his attention to a decision.
“I have a visit to Oklahoma State coming up on April 23, so I’m going to check that out and see how it feels,” Glenn said. “Then I have the Elite 11 Regional on May 15 in Nashville. After that, I’ll really start diving into schools, really start getting all the information and putting it all together to see where I’d fit best and try to make a decision close to there.”
Glenn already has a good feel for at least one school. The quarterback visited Auburn again on Saturday. It was Glenn’s third visit to Auburn and easily the best.
“It was amazing,” Glenn said. “My family and I loved it.”
Glenn’s mother, grandfather, three sisters and brother all made the trip to Auburn. It didn’t take much effort from Glenn to get them to make the trip.
“They are pretty big Auburn fans, so when I texted in the group chat that I was headed to Auburn, none of them wanted to miss it,” Glenn said. “My whole family is Auburn fans. They’ve grown up around Auburn. My grandfather graduated from vet school there in 1963 and I am even named Auburn. My name is Auburn Brock Glenn.”
Auburn offers Auburn during visit
Glenn learned during the visit that he now has a chance to play for his namesake. Auburn’s Bryan Harsin informed Glenn of an offer before the start of the Tigers’ spring game.
“I was on the field with Coach (Mike) Hartline and my brother watching them warmup, and as they were going to the locker room, Coach (Bryan) Harsin came over and told me about the offer,” Glenn said. “My sisters, mom and grandfather were inside eating, so they missed out. My brother and I went back in and told them the news and they were all excited.

The visit and offer, as well as the coaches, certainly made an impression on Glenn.
“I love their coaching staff and how much they care about family,” Glenn said. “I know a lot of places harp on family and say they’re all about it, but you can feel it at Auburn. They truly care about their players, their players’ families, their own families. They really treated my family great and showed me how much they truly care about you as a person and family as a whole.”
Glenn now has offers from Auburn, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Michigan State, Kentucky, Missouri, Virginia Tech and Kansas, among others.
