AUBURN -- It almost looked like No. 13 Auburn was too amped up to start the game against No. 22 Kentucky. The Tigers committed early turnovers and missed open threes, all while the Wildcats made tough shots and took care of the basketball. The result was a 10-point lead by Kentucky at halftime, a lead they ultimately held on to. Auburn made runs in the second half, but they were answered by Kentucky time and time again. In the end, the Tigers fell 68-59. The Tigers fell to 20-6 overall and 9-4 in SEC play, while the Wildcats improved to 18-7 overall and 8-5 in SEC play.
