REPLAY: Auburn Live Call-In Show
Auburn Live’s Jeffrey Lee, Cole Pinkston, Keith Niebuhr, fan correspondent/insider “Jhead” and producer Zach McKinnell answered questions and calls from fans Sunday night.
We went in-depth with callers on several topics, including the latest the Tigers’ 2023 recruiting. Transfer portal quarterbacks, offensive linemen, defensive linemen and running back all were discussed, plus some football as well.

USF transfer RB Brian Battie visits AU, Colorado up next
Transfer running back Brian Battie took an official visit to Auburn on Sunday.
Battie, who is transferring from USF, arrived in Auburn Sunday morning and stayed until Sunday afternoon.
“They toured us around the campus and then came in and saw the new football facility,” Battie said. “It looks amazing in there. It looks like something that colleges aren’t supposed to have.”
Battie also met with coach Hugh Freeze, offensive coordinator Philip Montgomery and running backs coach Carnell Williams.

“I had a pretty good day,” he said. “They have a nice plan setup for me. I definitely think I would fit in. They have some big things coming this way.”
Battie said Auburn has offered, so has Colorado and Utah. He’s set to visit Colorado next weekend (Jan. 13-15) and make a decision soon after returning from the visit.
“I’ll make my decision probably right there on the 15th,” he said.
Battie, who is listed at 5-foot-8 and 165 pounds, was an NCAA consensus All-American as a freshman kick returner. He was a second-team All-AAC as a sophomore rushing for 1,186 yards.
He has two years of eligibility.
