Report card: Offense, defense receive solid grades, special teams does not in Samford win

With SEC play looming, Auburn football put forth a fairly dominant effort against FCS foe Samford on Saturday night. The Tigers won 45-13, but it should have been much worse. Auburn turned the ball over three more times, and failed to convert a fourth down while driving in the first half. That's seven turnovers in two games. However, it's Samford, so the Tigers still scored 45 points and racked up 562 yards of offense, while holding Samford to 218 total yards.
