RPM rundown: Going back through Auburn RPM predictions, and a new prediction
As the 2023 recruiting season continues to roll on, there have been a few Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) predictions made for some top Auburn targets. In case you forget which ones, let’s run through the list.
Today, we’ll give the latest on each target with an Auburn prediciton, and talk through any percentage of confidence changes. Keep in mind, these are my personal picks. Other Auburn and national experts have made their picks as well. You can view what picks are available on each individual recruiting profile under the “RPM” box and clicking on the “All Predictions” link.
A new prediction was made today, and it’s a big one. We will discuss.
OT, Stanton Ramil, Alabaster, Ala.
PREDICTION: Auburn
CONFIDENCE: 60%
DATE OF PICK: 2/28/22
After speaking with Ramil at the Under Armour Next Camp in February, I felt as though he was leaning toward Auburn. Before making a pick, I checked with sources close to his recruitment. They felt the same way.
Flash-forward nearly four months to now, and I still have my pick on Auburn. Today, I would still keep the 60% confidence level. In other words, there is no reason for a rise in confidence, but also no reason to change the pick.
Ramil has not been mentioned as much lately, but rest assured he is still a top OT target for the Tigers. Others in the mix for the talented OT include North Carolina, Clemson, Pittsburgh, and Penn State. Ramil has not mentioned a timeline for his commitment.
Ramil is back in Auburn news today. AuburnLive’s Jeffrey Lee reported he will be back at Auburn this week for an unofficial visit. That is big news.

DL, Joshua Horton, Fairburn, Ga.
PREDICTION: Auburn
CONFIDENCE: 90%
DATE OF PICK: 3/23/22
Horton, the 6-foot-5 290-pound DL, just wrapped up an official visit with the Tigers. By all accounts, that visit went as well as hoped.
As we go deeper into the summer months, my confidence level has dropped some with one of Auburn’s top DL targets. UCF blew him away on his official visit. They are heavily recruiting him as well. According to our intel, he is absolutely hearing them out.
What once was a 90% confidence level has now dropped to about 70% for me. My pick is still on Auburn and I think he could be in the class before too much longer. Still, UCF, North Carolina, and Tennessee will get their shot to try and change his mind.
RB, Jeremiah Cobb, Montgomery, Ala.
PREDICTION: Auburn
CONFIDENCE: 70%
DATE OF PICK: 4/11/22
Auburn has seemingly been in the driver’s seat for Cobb for a good while now. According to our intel, that hasn’t changed.
What has changed, however, is the emergence of Clemson. Why might Clemson be a serious threat? They seemed to have made him feel wanted on his official visit. He also has two former teammates who signed with them last recruiting cycle.
Auburn gets Cobb back on campus for his official visit this weekend. The Tigers will need to steal back some momentum here to secure their standing. For now, my confidence remains 70% with his Auburn visit coming up.
QB, Brock Glenn, Memphis, Ten.
PREDICTION: Auburn
CONFIDENCE: 70%
DATE OF PICK: 4/11/22
My pick details for Cobb and Glenn are identical. I have Glenn predicted to Auburn with 70% confidence, and put that pick in on the same day.

A lot has happened with Glenn’s recruitment since earning his Auburn offer. He has officially visited TCU, a visit that impressed him. He has earned other offers, most notably from Ohio State. At last check, an official visit was in the works with the Buckeyes.
As of today, I still have a similar percentage of confidence that Glenn will try and conclude his recruitment before competing in the Elite 11 finals as he said he would. I think Auburn is the team to beat, and will keep my pick with 70% confidence for now.
WR, Karmello English, Phenix City, Ala.
PREDICTION: Auburn
CONFIDENCE: 40%
DATE OF PICK: 4/23/22
I wasn’t overly confident when I made this pick, but folks at Auburn seemed to be. So, I put one in with low confidence.
English has been quiet lately, besides taking an official visit to Kentucky. As of right now, there is no official visit set up for Auburn, but he has been to campus more than 5 times on record.

English will have a commitment decision on July 2 according to AuburnLive’s Keith Niebuhr. While an official visit hasn’t been set up, look for English to make another trip to campus before his decision.
As of right now, my confidence has slightly risen for the 4-star WR. I would go as high as 60% that Auburn will land English.
EDGE, Keldric Faulk, Highland Home, Ala.
PREDICTION: Auburn
CONFIDENCE: 55%
DATE OF PICK: 6/14/22
I have put in a new prediction for Auburn today. Keldric Faulk, the 4-star EDGE from Highland Home, Ala., took his official visit to Auburn this weekend. The Tigers made him feel at home and expressed the crucial need for him. Not only that, they think he could come in and play early.
Apart from football, Faulk fits well with the current staff and at Auburn in general. He is from a small Alabama town and proximity to home could be a factor. Auburn has always in the picture, but this past weekend appears to have solidified a slight lead for him.
Faulk hopes to be back on campus for Big Cat Weekend in July. His commitment decision could be soon after.
