Seen & heard: Auburn-LSU game day recruiting blog

The Auburn-LSU game will be a star-studded event as several elite recruits will be on hand at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday.

And, there’s always a chance for a surprise guest or two (we’ll see).

Auburn Live is there to document things.

Below, we’ll let you know which targets we’ve spotted inside the stadium.

Remember, just because we don’t see someone at the game that doesn’t mean he didn’t make it. Sometimes, certain recruits can be difficult to locate.

The game begins at 6 p.m. CT. Most recruits will arrive about two hours before kickoff.

NOTES FROM SATURDAY

-5-stars James Smith, DL, and Qua Russaw, Edge, just arrived. They’re the stars of the Montgomery (Ala.) Carver team. This is their third game at Jordan-Hare Stadium this season.

-Georgia 4-star offensive tackle commit Bo Hughley is back for another game.

-4-star edge Keldric Faulk, Highland Home, Ala., has made it to the game as expected. Florida State commitment that Auburn continues to recruit. This is his second Auburn game in three weeks.

-4-star edge Rueben Bain, Miami, Fla. (Central), is out on the field right now. He’s wearing an Auburn hat. First Tigers game for him today.

-3-star North Carolina DL commit Joshua Horton is here.

-The Auburn Live crew just spotted 3-star LB Alex Sanford, Oxford, Miss., – the Arkansas commitment. He’s in Auburn for his official visit this weekend.

-We’ve spotted 4-star LB Stanquan Clark, Miami, Fla. (Central). He’s a Louisville commitment that Auburn seems to be recruiting harder of late.

-We can confirm Alabama 5-star DB commit Tony Mitchell, Alabaster, Ala. (Thompson), is in Auburn on his official visit. He’s at the stadium right now.

-Four-star Ohio State tight end commit 4-star TE Jelani Thurman has made it. Believe this is his third game at Jordan-Hare Stadium this season.

-Kentucky RB commit Khalifa Keith of Birmingham, Ala. (Parker) is here. No. 25 recruit in the state.

-We can confirm 4-star ATH/CB Edwin Joseph of Hollywood, Fla. (Chaminade-Madonna) has made it to the game. Auburn offered him earlier this week.

-Michigan State offensive line commit  Clay Wedin of Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood day has arrived in Auburn. He left Florida at about 6 a.m., ET today to get there.

-We can confirm 4-star 2024 RB J’Marion Burnette of Andalusia, Ala., is here. Major Tigers target in the junior class.

-3-star Auburn OL commit Bradyn Joiner, Auburn, Ala., is at the stadium. He’s on his official visit this weekend. Was the first commit for the Tigers in the 2023 class.

-4-star 2024 LB Myles Graham, Atlanta, Ga. (Woodward), is here. He’s a Florida commitment. His dad is former Gators running back Earnest Graham.

-2024 3-star DL Malik Blocton of Pike Road, Ala., is at the game. He has been to every Auburn home game this season I think.

-We’ve spotted 4-star Auburn RB commit Jeremiah Cobb, Montgomery, Ala. (Catholic). Auburn’s highest-ranked commit.

-Offered 2024 WR Cameron Coleman of Phenix City, Ala. (Central) is at the stadium. He’s having a big junior season. This is his first Auburn game.

-2025 4-star CB Chris Ewald, Hollywood, Fla. (Chaminade-Madonna), is here. Lots of South Florida kids on hand Saturday.

-4-star DL Jeremiah Beaman, Birmingham, Ala. (Parker), is here. Huge Auburn target in the 2024 class.

-2025 TE London Merrit of Atlanta’s Woodward Academy is here. He already holds multiple Power 5 offers.

-2024 OT Jordan Floyd is here, per Cole. Heavily offered player from the metro-Atlanta area.

-Auburn 4-star safety commit Terrance Love, Fairburn, Ga. (Langston Hughes), is back on campus.

-2024 3-star offered safety Kaleb Harris of Thompson, Ala., is here.

-Heavily offered 2025 Miami (Fla.) Central cornerback Amari Wallace arrived in Auburn earlier today.
