Social Slant: Auburn fans react to commitment of WR Jyaire Shorter
Auburn football has added a commitment from Jyair Shorter, one of the top wide receivers in the transfer portal.
Shorter, who is transferring from North Texas, announced his decision Tuesday on Instagram.
He chose Auburn over Colorado and Mississippi State, among others. Shorter’s commitment to Auburn comes a week after leaving an official visit to the Plains.

“The coaching staff is very genuine, being straight up,” Shorter told Auburn Live’s Cole Pinkston. “The facilities and everywhere, just loving the environment and atmosphere here. I love it, man.”
Auburn fans took to twitter, mostly in quote tweet form, to celebrate the addition of the 6-foot-2 220 pound receiver.
