Takeaways: Auburn crushed at Kentucky, loses 20th straight inside Rupp Arena

In the first of three straight Quad I games, Auburn basketball came up short yet again at Kentucky on Saturday afternoon. It's the Tigers' 20th straight loss inside Rupp Arena. The final: Kentucky xx, Auburn xx. The loss drops Auburn's road record against Kentucky to 2-48, and improves Kentucky's record against Auburn inside Rupp Arena to 31-2. The last win for the Tigers in Lexington was in January of 1988 when Kentucky was ranked No. 1 overall. Auburn falls to 19-10 overall and 9-7 in league play. Kentucky improves to 20-9 overall and 11-5 in league play. Auburn drops two games behind third-place Kentucky in the SEC standings, as the Tigers continue to battle for a top-four seed in the SEC Tournament.
