Terrance Love’s On3 ‘Scouting Summary
Physically imposing athlete who crushes the competition at safety and wide receiver. Excellent build and frame for a defensive back, will more than likely kick inside to linebacker at the next level. Solid long speed at the linebacker position. Ran an 11.60 100m and a 23.52 200m during his sophomore track and field season. Productive player when working down in the box and as a cover 2 player.
Totaled 58 tackles, 3 tackles for loss and 3 interceptions during his junior season. Excellent hip fluidity and ability to play in space. Has all the physical tools and athletic ability to convert to linebacker. Will need to develop ability to key and diagnose at the linebacker position and develop the ability to trigger at a faster rate. NFL upside at linebacker if able to maintain movement skills with added mass.
SEC readiness
Breakdown from On3’s Cole Pinkston:
Love is physically ready to play in the SEC. He brings the physicality and football instinct needed.

As of right now Auburn has some experienced depth at safety and nickel. Love has been talked to about both positions, but could also grow into a linebacker. His versatility should help him play earlier.
Love is good enough to make a difference if inserted into the game. He could be a strong special teams player while he works into a role on the defense. His advanced ball skills, size, and good speed will translate well.
