The Auburn Live Plus Show: 1-on-1 with new safeties coach T.J. Rushing

Auburn coach Hugh Freeze in January announced the promotion of T.J. Rushing to be the Tigers’ new safeties coach.
Rushing, who previously held the title of special assistant to the head coach, took over for Charles Kelly, who left to become Jacksonville State’s head coach.

Prior to Auburn, Rushing coached defensive backs at Texas A&M for four seasons, two of which were spent under D.J. Durkin, who is now the Tigers’ defensive coordinator. Rushing also coached defensive backs at Memphis prior to his stint at A&M.
Rushing joined Auburn Live to talk about his new position at Auburn, what it’s like working under D.J. Durkin, his thoughts on the safeties room and his favorite type of fish to catch.
