BREAKING: Top-50 recruit Sebastian Williams-Adams commits to Auburn
Four-star power forward Sebastian Williams-Adams, who is ranked the No. 44 overall recruit in the country, has committed to Auburn.
Williams-Adams, who attends St. John’s in Houston, Texas, announced his decision Sunday on social media. He chose Auburn over Oklahoma State, Purdue, Kansas and Vanderbilt, among others.
The Tigers had been the presumed leader leading up to the announcement, having made their biggest move for during an official visit in September.
“It was really fun,” he said of the Auburn visit. “Hanging out with players. I was with Tahaad (Pettiford) and Jahki (Howard). They really took me under their wings and we chilled. We had a lot of fun.
“The coaches were really welcoming. The coaches’ energy (was my favorite part). I felt like we were on a whirlwind pace, but they stay happy. They stay energized. It was a real fun (visit) being here.”

Williams-Adams Scouting Report
“The production is what pops when watching Sebastian Williams Adams. Standing in the 6-7 range, the forward is a downhill type with good touch around the rim. He can attack from various areas on the floor and absorbs contact getting to the free throw line.
“Would like to see Williams Adams continue working on the shooting, tightening things up from beyond the arc and adding to his middle game. He is an active defender, using his length and anticipation to guard more perimeter-based forwards and then his length and aggression to switch down a line up for more paint-based forwards.
“He is an active rebounder in and out of his area. A player who keeps the motor running and continues coming at you, on both ends, throughout the course of a game.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw
