AUBURN — Auburn transfer CB Raion Strader met the media on Wednesday. Strader talks about adjusting from Miami (OH) to the SEC, whether he’s approaching the league with a chip on his shoulder, how me thinks he matches up against elite college football wideouts and much more.

Intel coming from the spring is important. We heard plenty of intel coming from winter workouts. If those players creating buzz in the workouts then show it on the field, you know you’ve got something. Freshmen, transfers, returnees altogether, these are the ten players I’m hearing the most about right now.
**This list is freshman-heavy, but that is simply who has been the talk from sources. This may mean sources knew what to expect from returnees and are excited about the new look players.

Fr. QB – Deuce Knight

Remember, you’re getting this from a recruiting reporter’s perspective. When it comes to recruits, Knight has been the talk of the visits. To be fair, other sources that are not recruits have echoed the same sentiment. These are the quotes I’ve been getting…

“The way he slings it is crazy.”
“His arm is serious.”
“He’s ahead of the game for a freshman.”
“Auburn will be just fine if Deuce has to play.”

It certainly helps that Knight is one of two quarterbacks getting the majority of the reps. He’s been consistent, flashed elite athleticism, elite arm strength, and has kept the ball clean in live settings. He is the eye-catcher of the spring, no doubt.
