WATCH: Tigers take late lead in CWS with 3-run RBI from Cole Foster
Auburn continues to try and stay alive in the College World Series. Much like the first game against Ole Miss, the bats have been relatively quiet. After runners were stranded earlier in the game, the Tigers were unable to get anyone across home plate.
Stanford took a 2-run lead early in the game, but pitcher Trace Bright, from Montgomery, Ala. has held his own on the mound. Bright has now thrown 8 strikeouts coming into the 6th inning.

With bases loaded, Auburn outfielder Bobby Pierce was up to a full 3-2 count. The last pitch was right outside the plate and put Pierce on first, which also gave Auburn a run from Blake Rambusch who was on third base.
Shortly after, 2nd basemen Cole Foster knocked a pitch to the left-center wall for his 2nd big hit of the day. It was a 3-run RBI that put Auburn in the lead 4-2. A clutch play propelled the Tigers to a massive lead in the top of the 6th inning in a game where scoring is difficult to come by.
