Auburn football is 2-0 on the season. What have we learned? Well, that might depend on your perspective. UMass entered the season with an expected win total of 2.5 games. Cal entered the season with an expected win total of 5.5 games. (Auburn entered the season with an expected win total of 6.5 games, for reference.) The Tigers blew out UMass and barely squeaked out a win at Cal. We learned more about this Auburn team following the west-coast road trip, you always do in close games, but did Hugh Freeze and Co. learn enough to make the right adjustments heading into the final non-conference game before SEC play beings? We may find that answer out on Saturday night.
