Zac Etheridge interview takeaways: Impressive true freshmen, Donovan Kaufman's position change, 'shadowing' and more
Auburn football defensive backs coach Zac Etheridge met the media on Thursday as the Tigers inch closer towards their first fall camp scrimmage on Saturday inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. Here are the highlights of what Etheridge said, including true freshmen looking ready to contribute, Donovan Kaufman's position change, leadership and much more. "The good thing about it is that we have a veteran group that are picking up the new defense fairly fast from what they did in the spring. These guys have done a great job this summer of getting themselves in shape and prepared for what the offense is doing," Etheridge said. "Our offense is doing the high tempo practice and getting adjustments. Really impressed with this group and seeing a bunch of these young guys pick up the scheme. The leadership and communication is something that we continue to harp on. These guys have done a phenomenal job of just taking that to the next level."
