2 Gators accept Senior Bowl invites
Two Florida Gators have accepted invitations to the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl, the event announced Thursday evening. They are defensive lineman Cam Jackson and punter Jeremy Crawshaw.
Jackson, a 6-foot-6, 342-pound senior from Haynesville, La., is a Gators starter who has recorded 26 total tackles (seven solo), 1 tackle for loss and 2 pass break ups this season. This comes after making 11 starts in 2023 following his transfer from Memphis.
Crawshaw, a senior from Australia, averages 47.08 yards per punt, good for No. 4 nationally. Eighteen of his 39 punts have ended up inside the opponents’ 20-yard-line. He was AP All-SEC Second Team last season. In Week 6 this season, he was the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week.
Per the event’s official website, “The Reese’s Senior Bowl is widely regarded as the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL Draft process. The longest continual-running all-star game has taken place in Mobile, Alabama the past 75 years. More than 900 NFL personnel, including key decision-makers from all 32 teams, and over 1100 media members from around the country were credentialed this year. This past April, the game produced 110 total picks, representing 43 percent of the entire NFL draft.”

Two Gators were invited to the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl — receiver Ricky Pearsall and offensive lineman Kingsley Eguakun. Pearsall had a strong week leading up to the game and likely raised his stock because of it. He was a first-round draft pick by San Francisco.
The upcoming game is Feb. 1, 2025 in Mobile, Ala.
